Nature is my muse – color, shape, shadows, & highlights call to me. My hand instinctively reaches out, tracing patterns, lines & curves; my eyes light on texture, hue & tones; then I paint.

Trained as a watercolor artist focusing in portrait work, I have found my place in the world of acrylics. I am hopelessly in love with the depth & intensity of this medium's colors. Texture & shape drive my creative personality. A brush loaded with pigment flowing seductively over the canvas, mounding into succulent drifts of color…pure bliss.
